Hey guys. So I have been meaning to do this for awhile now. But I seem to be having a mental block. Such an urge to say something... anything. But can't come up with it. So in order to satiate my need to contribute and express my feelings. I have come up with this... stealing someone else's work. This is a song that makes me think of Brad. I hope it's not to sad or depressing for you guys. It makes me cry every time I hear it but when its over I feel better... Its a song by the Plain White T's called Radios in Heaven and it says a lot of stuff I wish I could in my own words
Another Birthday.
Hope heaven's turkeys are juicy and the skin crispy.

You know the guy that wrote it (and sings it) is from here in Villa Park. I run into his grandmother occasionally. I'll have to let her know what an effect it has. I know it had tears flowing here.

Sun, 06/08/2008 - 9:20amWhat are the chances that guy is from Villa Park! Heather told me she came across this song because she was downloading some other music of theirs, so she like these guys before that song. I really can't get over how perfect it is. It's a keeper.

His Grandma
Thu, 08/14/2008 - 11:34amSo yesterday I was at a function here in town and met Tom Higgenson's (the songwriter/singer) Grandmother. She was serving food for the event. So I told her how much this song meant to everyone here. She stopped, walked around the table and gave me a big hug with tears in her eyes.
She was truly touched. So I sent a message to Tom through her.
The song was written for her mom, his Great-Grandmother, so it meant alot to her too.
