Here is a link and the the content from a message board Mari found. It turns out that it is Brad's friend Rob who was at the service. Hopefully we will soon see him telling stories here.

I'm not sure how to do this since I've never had to do it before, but
to anyone who knew Brad Cassidy, he was found dead today in his apt in Chicago. A lot of people knew him from Slaughterhouse shows. He was usually standing on a chair behind the audience heckling the band to "play that one again!" or telling them their tunes were "top shelf!" I've been lucky enough to have known him for many, many years and even be in a couple of bands with him. He was a great friend and always a pleasure to be around. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
I think services will be held in the Chicago area and there might be some people driving up, myself included. If you are interested I'll have more details in the coming days.

Brad(en) was a good man. I talked to his mom at length and she will be spreading some of his ashes at a "location to be named later" in St. Louis. Anyone who is interested in attending don't hesitate to leave a post, email, or call me. She would be eternally grateful for any of Brad's friends/acquaintences to be there.

Hey guys, thanks for mentioning my brother Brad. We have a website for Brad we are working on. Check it out and please sign up and add stuff to it. We'd love to hear from you guys and hear stories about Brad, any stories. We knew Brad and about Brad and you guys can talk freely. Were any of you guys at the service? If so thanks. Please sign up on the website, look around, check it out. We are going to be adding a calender also, for upcoming events. We hope if any of Brad's friends who have a band, or know of a band, want to, they can use the calender to post events if they want. It's always cool to find more people who knew him and liked him.
