......and I'm feeling.....boom boom...... glad all over!

The other day as I was walking through Trader Joe's, I was stopped in my tracks and started weeping because this song came over their music systerm. Brad LOVED this song.

Years ago, there was a period when my car had no cassette player, and all we listened to was the oldies station. Brad would get SO excited when this song came on. He would never buy it because he said it would ruin the excitement of the song. I totally understand that. It was always a treat when we got to hear it - like a little extra magic in the day.

I was sharing with Emily, today, about this song. I then remembered one piece more - and this is my favorite part. When we would be driving and this song was on, Brad would go "ooooh yes!" in that way he did (you all know what I mean) and then he would dance in his seat and when the chorus would come on......"and I'm feeling....(boom boom) glad all over!" He would reach over and toot the horn to the boom boom part! We would laugh and laugh.

I couldn't find a good video for the song - but I really just wanted you all to hear it.......here it is. Oh, how I wish I could just call Brad on the phone and say, "Hey! I heard that song!" and we'd get a good chuckle. Dammit, I miss you Brad!
